    Andrew was the son of Ephraim January and his wife, Sarah McConnell. He was born in the stone house in Jessamine County, Kentucky that his father built in

    He married Sarah Huston on December 31, 1816 in Lexington, Kentucky. They had about 14 children. Three of their children, Elizabeth, Isabella and Andrew died in May during the cholera epidemic of 1833. They died in Maysville, where the family was living at the time.

    Andrew was a prominent citizen and successful businessman in Maysville. He died in Maysville on June 11, 1877. He was probably buried with his wife in Section E of Maysville Cemetery, but as of this writing, I have no proof.

    Andrew married Sarah Huston 31 Dec 1816, Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, USA. Sarah (daughter of William Huston and Elizabeth Bratton) was born 15 Dec 1802, Lexington, Fayette County, Kentucky, USA; died 8 Apr 1867, Maysville, Mason County, Kentucky, USA. [Group Sheet]
