The certificate looks like it says 'schaenmaker' which would be scale maker, but if it is really 'schoenmaker', he would be a shoemaker.) living in Hoogeveen and Jan Harms Koster, age 55 years, scale maker by profession (once again it could be 'schoenmaker' which is 'shoemaker.") living in Hoogeveen, the first and the second neighbors of the post to call deceased which declared that Sijerkina Nieuwenhuis Semple, late spouse of Jan Romberg, resident of the town of Hoogeveen, no profession, daughter of Roelof Jacobs Nieuwenhuis Semple and an Aaltje Harms of Nuil, both deceased, of which she was born in the town of Hoogeveen, the 14th of July, 1799; on the 31st of the month of March 1855 in the afternoon at her house at the age of 55 years is deceased."
