  Dora Bruning, 83, LeRoy, passed away at 9:16 p.m. Sunday (June 12, 2011) at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Downs. Mrs. Bruning was born March 12, 1928, in Kentucky, daughter of George Thomas and Ruby Allen Sidebottom. She married Linus G. "Lynn" Bruning on July 8, 1946, in Bloomington. He survives in LeRoy. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Kenny and Richard Bruning; one daughter, Gail Bruning; one sister; and five grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Downs.
