  Elise, her brother Richard and Uncle Jakob Barlin came to the US together. They came over on the President Lincoln, which left the port of Cuxhaven and a arrived in New York City on Oct. 17, 1907. Eliese and her husband had an almond ranch in Delhi, Stanislaus County, California. After they sold the ranch, they moved to the San Francisco Bay area. Eliese and George had no children.
