• Notes

  Enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1914. I was told that he was wounded during WWI and had mental problems after that. On the 1930 Census, Henry is listed as being an inmate of the Topeka State Hospital in Topeka, Kansas. The place is listed on the census as being an "insane institution." The hospital where Henry died was a VA neuropsychiatric hospital.
