Fact 1 According to Nicholson and Burn's History of Westmorland and Cumberland Counties, Vol 1: " Henry de Threlkeld is said to have been Sheriff of Westmorland. He was probably under Sheriff at this time, when the office of heredity Sheriff was jointly held by Isabella Clifford and Odonea de Leybourn as coheiresses of their father, Robert de Veteripont."
