This man's initial of "J" is just that...an initial. His mother was Mariam Soule and his father was Charles Franklin Chapman. Charles was in inventor, holding many Patents. He worked for the Kraft Co., inventing the machine that wrapped their Kraft Carmels. J. Soule come to Chicago, attending Northwetern University. There he met his future bride, Mildred Obenland. After graduating from Northwestern, he went to the Rochester Theological Seminary in Rochester, NY, earning his Seminary Degree. J. Soule was a Baptist pastor. His first church was in Morrison, IL, then El Paso, Il. His last church was in Cambridge, Il. He was there until his death in 1969. His hobbies included chair caning and some woodwork and furniture restoration. Buried Rose Hill Cemetery, Petersburg, Menard County, Illinois. Plot: 4th Addition, Section 2, Block 6, Lot 46.
