    • George David Adamson peacefully left this life on Tuesday, July 16, 2002.

      George was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on May 30, 1910, to Mary Hunter and John Adamson. Moved to California as a young man where he spent more than 75 years. Married Wanda Fay Larsen on November 11,1939, in Los Angeles. Loving father to Barbara Jean and devoted grandfather to Kameo, Kory, Kevin, and Kanon. Moved to Utah in 1997 to be near family.

      George was an honorable man who lived the Golden Rule each day. He worked on the Southern Pacific Railroad for 30 years, first as a fireman, then as an engineer, and retired in Riverside, California. George was an avid reader who also enjoyed billiards, crossword puzzles, and playing Dominoes and Scrabble with his daughter and grandchildren.

      George is survived by his daughter Barbara Jean Topham; grandsons Kory and Kanon Koontz, and their wives respectively, Colleen and Lesli; and nine great-grandchildren (Allie, Kirsten, Jackie, Chandler, Jamie, Alyssa, Hunter, Kaitlyn, and Kody). Preceded in death by wife of fifty-nine years, Wanda; sister, Robin Lawson; and grandchildren Kameo Ryser and Kevin Koontz.

      Graveside services to be held on Saturday, July 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive.
