  The Social Secuirty Death Index says she was born in 1888. Her obituary says she was born in 1889. I'm using 1888 because that would have been the birthdate Emma gave when she applied for Social Security. Her obituary says 1889, but because that came from someone else, I'm using it as an alternate. Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Clay County, Kansas. Plot: Block 7, Lot 20, Grave 4.
