  The 1900 Federal Census has Harry living with his mother and siblings Perry (b. 10/1873), Minnie (b. 1/1871) , Harvey (Barty?) (b. 5/1877) and Sophia (b. 5/1878) in Champaign County, Illinois. His mother Mary was a widow. Harry worked as a harness maker. The census shows that both of Harry's parents were born in Kentucky. It also says that Mary had had 9 children, with all 9 still living in 1900. In the 1880 Federal Census, I found a Samuel and Manirva Bailey living with their children in Union County, Kentucky. The number of children fit. There were children listed of Perry, Minnie, and Harvey. The extimated birth dates from the 1900 Census fit these children and the mother Mary.
