5896 Willi's parents were Wilhelm and Wilhelmine Pauline Weiss Geiger. His family was from Dagersheim, but Willi was born in London, England. His parents had immigrated to England before Willi's birth, but returned to Germany during WWI. Willi had two sisters, Hedwig Emma Maria and Erna Luise. Willi was a salesman when he met Emma Obenland. She was working at a millinery store when he came in to sell items to the owner. He and Emma Emma were divorced in about 1933. Willi remarried and had other children. He later became a bookkeeper. Buried in Lutheran Cemetery in Boeblingen. Information from his children Alfred Geiger and Sigrid Geiger Penrose. 5897 William and Eliza adopted the son of William Harry Harter and his wife, Ruth O Dunklebarger. Ruth died of an infection due to childbirth the day after her son was born. The father died in 1935. The boy was known as "William G Keen", as evidenced by the 1930 Federal Census where he was listed with that name, as the Keen's adopted son. 5898 WILLIAM E. PAZDER, went to meet his Savior on Monday, May 28, 2012, surrounded by his loving family at Hope Hospice, Cape Coral. He was was born on Oct. 24, 1928. He retired as a marketing rep from Mobil Oil Corp. in 1984. After moving to Florida, he obtained his real estate license. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, making stained glass, and his favorite was cooking for his family and friends. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and the Cape Coral Moose Lodge. His joy in life was being Santa Claus to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Jo; children, Linda (Keith) Bower, Donna (Tim) Webster, Mary (Jim) Webb, Susan (Roger), Steve, Bill Jr., (Bev), and Tom (Kathe); stepdaughters, Linda (Greg) Hall, Cathy (Bill) Gething and Carol (Karl) Brauer; his special grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Marie (Norman) Huck. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frances; and brothers, Tom and George. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial 2 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Our Lady of Light Catholic Church, 19680 Cypress View Drive, Ft. Myers, Fla. 5900 William's WWI Draft Registation shows that he was self-employed as a master plumber. The family was living at 3137 Fanshaw St., Philadelphia, PA. The 1920 Federak Census lists the fammily at 230 E. Allegheny Ave. William owned his own plumbing buisness. In the 1930 Census, they are still living on Allegheny Ave.. They own the house, which is worth $9,000. Their daughter Elizabeth is 20 and living with her parents.
